Lake of the Woods has the highest walleye/sauger limits in Minnesota and offers the best chance at trophy walleye and northern pike in the Midwest. Walleye over 30 inches and northern pike over 40 inches are caught every ice fishing season. Lake of the Woods also supports excellent perch and crappie populations.
